The Massage Therapy program is designed to prepare students for employment as licensed massage therapists in a variety of health care and wellness settings, such as spas, resorts, sports clinics, corporate offices, and/or medical offices. Though instruction and demonstration, students will develop skills in the manipulation of soft tissues of the human body. Student practice includes various massage techniques and the use of hydrotherapy and other allied modalities.
Graduates of the Message Therapy program will be prepared to take the Massage & Bodyworks Licensing Examination (MBLEx). Licensing is required for employment in the State of Florida. For information about national and program accreditation, contact the institution.

Admissions Requirements
- Schedule a basic skills assessment ($15) or provide official documentation of a basic skills exemption to your program counselor/advisor.
- Schedule an appointment with your program counselor/advisor for basic skills assessment results and/or a program specific orientation.
- Physical examination and immunization record and Level 2 Background Check (approved vendor only).
- Register for classes during open enrollment. Program registration runs on a first come, first served basis.
