McFatter Technical College’s Marine Service Technologies program prepares students for careers in pleasure-boat service and repair. Its curriculum includes marine rigging, outboard engines, engine diagnostics, fuel injection, drive systems, and inboard gas and diesel engines.

Our role on McFatter’s COE advisory committee

McFatter is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education, or COE. The council’s occupational advisory committee framework brings outside industry expertise into program review, helping colleges consider current occupational practices and how well training prepares students for work.

Our committee membership gives Angle of Attack Marine a place in that conversation. The aim is to support relevant technical education through dialogue between educators and professionals who understand marine service work.

Marine service experience in Miami and Doral

Angle of Attack Marine’s Miami/Doral facility at 1771 NW 79th Avenue, Miami, FL 33126 brings performance powerboat sales, Mercury Racing service and indoor boat storage together. That service focus gives practical context to our involvement with McFatter Technical College.

Our Mercury repower services in Miami include planning replacement engine packages, evaluating existing Mercury engines for trade-in, installation, rigging and testing. These are examples of the technical work that makes marine education relevant to boat owners as well as students.

We also offer boat storage in Miami, with service and storage available at the same facility. Owners can discuss their vessel’s maintenance and storage needs with one team, from planning engine work to arranging a place to keep the boat between outings.
